Investment Strategy

HealthCare Ventures invests primarily in privately owned companies. Our focus is on companies that are well-positioned to grow rapidly in value based upon product development timelines, capital requirements, and future demand for products.

HealthCare Ventures is well known for developing excellent management teams focused on creating important product concepts. The companies we invest in support a broad array of technology platforms and offer late-stage products or novel innovations. We also look for companies that can retain their product rights and have near-term potential cash flow.

The managing directors of HealthCare Ventures work closely with the management team of our portfolio companies. They support the management team through recruiting at the management, board and advisory levels, arranging licensing and strategic partnerships, developing competitive strategies, securing financing, acquiring new products and technology, and providing guidance through early commercial development. They also work to maximize the fund's returns through effective exit strategy and planning.
